Granada is an hour’s drive from Finca el Almendrillo with lots to see and do including the Alhambra Palace, a Unesco World Heritage site.

Also on offer is the Baños Árabes (Arabian baths) forbathing and massage under geometric mosaics, arches and vaulted ceiling and the Science Museum for all amazing science related revelations.

In Antequera, you can visit the Wolf Park. From May-October on full moon evenings they organise “Wolf Howl Nights”. After dinner you can have a guided night tour. The guided tour teaches about wolves in general, but focuses on their vocalisations and specifically why wolves howl! Audiences are always thrilled when they let out a howl and the wolves howl in return, especially on a night with a clear sky full of stars or even during full moon.

Also in Antequera discover Megalithic Architecture at the 5000 year old Dolmens.

The Mezquita in Cordoba is a truly awe inspiring sight. A beautiful Moorish building, it is the most splendid Islamic monument in the western world. With its stunning arches and courtyard filled with orange trees, you can spend hours exploring and discovering.

Visit the exquisite city of Sevilla, with atmospheric tapas bars, exotic parks and the 16th century Cathedral of Sevilla – the largest Gothic cathedral and the third largest church in the world. It is also the burial site of Christopher Columbus!

Discover the authentic Costa Del Sol (only an hour’s drive away) with its sandy beaches – we love the beach between Malaga and Torremolinos, There are lots of lovely restaurants, and you can order freshly barbecued sardines from one of the local boats.

The Covered Market in Malaga is worth a visit. The olives, jamon, cheeses spices, exotic fruits and more are a visual feast. At the Crocodile Park in Torremolinos you even get to pet a baby croc or splash at Torremolinos Aqualand Water Park
